This blend was created with a friend whose son was suffering from the most severe case of Eczema. His mama had been researching products to use on his skin, and asked me about making him a blend of whipped tallow and zinc, without any fragrance/essential oils. And thus, after much trial and error, Skin Defender was born and we began making it in large batches for his full time use! WHO WE ARE
Ashley is a Licensed Midwife located in New Braunfels, Texas. For the last 17 years, she has cultivated a special love for homemade skincare products free of toxins and chemicals. At the age of 16, she created her first skincare product, a lusciously green herbal salve, that quickly gained in popularity! Since then, she's discovered a love for tallow based products and the rich benefits they offer!
HOW TO USE
With clean hands, apply a small amount to dry or irritated skin. Uses include daily moisturizer, lip balm, body lotion, etc.
The whipped texture makes for a smooth application, and a little goes a long way! Shelf life at room temperature is between 12-18 months. (Avoid touching product with wet hands as water introduced into the container can encourage mold to grow.)
